Supol
HPE use their toughest Supol® elastomeric materials, i.e. Nitrile, Silicone, EPDM, Hypalon rubbers, to manufacture a wide range of New and Retyred Rollers and Wheels. HPE are one of the countries leading manufacturers of roller coverings. HPE supply all industrial sectors including Aerospace, Print and Paper, Woodworking, Engineering and many more.
Supol rubbers are supplied to customer requirements where the specification is known, otherwise HPE will recommend appropriate grades.

Neoprene rubbers, hardness 30°A to 95°A

Supol engineering plastics are supplied in rod, block and sheets forms to suit customer requirements.

Supol Engineering Services
Supol engineering services compliment and support the diverse range of V-THane polyurethanes and Supol rubbers and plastics.
Machining services include CNC, turning, milling, grinding, sawing, water jet cutting, punching, drilling and routing.
HPE offer a re-machining service for truing worn rollers, restoring worn crown profiles, machining out damaged sections etc. It can often be worthwhile to consider a re-machine operation to extend the working life of a component.
We offer a plastic machining and fabrication service and can often repair existing plastic fabrications on a cost effective basis.

We manufacture and supply wheel centres to suit any application. We keep an extensive stock of press-on band metals, pallet wheel centres, steel bar, steel tube, steel tube, aluminium bar and aluminium tube. This allows rapid response for the majority of moulded and bonded components. |
Supol heat shrink tubing is offered in PVC and PTFE materials. We supply the sleeves for customer fitting or offer the complete manufacture and coating of steel and aluminium rolls.
Where required we supply metal fabrications in mild or stainless steel whether there is or isn't a requirement for a polymer coating. Where a part requires bolting we supply and bond steel or expanded metal reinforcement plates. We mould blind threaded fixings or threaded studs if this offers a more convenient solution.

We provide a full rebond or retyre service which includes cleaning and, if required, repairing metals prior to moulding activity. This service includes rebushing worn wheel centres, metal spraying for shaft repairs and the like, patches on fabrications and if the component is beyond economic repair we can manufacture a copy. |
Supol engineering services also offer a design and build service on mechanical handling systems and grinding and finishing machines. This service provides a unique opportunity to obtain the exact machine tool required to fulfil specific functions. We also offer a refurbishing and modification service to worn or redundant machine tools. We can design, build, supply and fit mechanised loading and handling systems to existing machines.
